The reason why BJ isn't ranked higher in the LW rankings is because the only LW he has beaten in the last 4 years is Jens Pulver who isn't even ranked. The fact that he beat Gomi 4 years ago means nothing in terms of current rankings. <BR/><BR/>Now you could make the arguement that BJ is a better fighter than Gomi but that doesn't mean he should be ranked higher. Rankings are based on recent accomplishments in their respective divisions. <BR/><BR/>This is why many people now consider Anderson Silva the #1 ranked p4p fighter over Fedor. Because Fedor hasn't been fighter top tier competition for the past year and half or so. His last quality opponent was Mark Hunt.<BR/><BR/>So is BJ a better fighter than Gomi? I think so.
