WTF, the UFC cutting their best fighters because(???) they w'ont be their slaves. The UFC figured with Brock.. they d'ont really need good fighters, all they need is top names, with a more dominant one beating up the others... Why keep Cain Velaskes since he possibly would beat Lesnar? Dana does not care about who the fighters are, how good they are, only about how good they appear, how well they sell. The problem is that fighters like Fitch treat MMA as a sport first, and NOT as a business. IT'S the other way around!! Is it unfortunate?? YES!! But it's no different than any other major professional sport out there.

I don't care what any of you say...Dana White is GREAT for MMA!!!He gives it the POSITIVE exposure it deserves.

p.s. All you've heard is Fitch's side. Dana has gone on record to say that it had nothing to do with Fitch, but more to do with AKA. Apparently, AKA's management company are the one's to blame. The UFC has shed more light on its ever growing control of the fighters and will get rid of those who see differently. I'm afraid the real people who get hurt by this is in fact the fighters.

Sure, the owners of the UFC did have to sacrifice to get the UFC where it is today and it is looking good. Although now that merchandising is starting to gain steam and that the company are willing to let go their prized fighters over another penny seems no more different than that of other money making companies.

I always thought that the UFC was different, I thought it cared for the love of the sport rather than the all mighty dollar. It seems that I'm wrong in that perspective and for Dana White to say other wise is just down right wrong. As "hardcore" fans of this young sport it is our duty to be well informed and demand RATIONAL changes/improvements in the UFC and overall MMA world. I assume one of the reasons why Dana tries so hard with his public relations, the Vlog, is because he realised how alienated the MMA community was towards his persona. The fact that we demand constant objective information creates a powerful enough MMA news service to influence the business decisions of the top dogs to some degree.
