Ghrean said...: Wow, Pavlik couldn't get into the rhythm of the fight at all except for maybe one round. He wasn't able to utilize his reach advantage and the jabs he threw had no conviction what so ever. He's still a relatively young boxer, hopefully this loss will give him a slap of reality and we'll see a renewed boxer all together.

Hopkins on the other hands had a great showing. It seemed like age didn't deter the speed and movement of the veteran boxer.

The first round basically set a template for the rest of the rounds which followed.

...the above is NOT something you'll hear about this fight.

Yay, some old dude beat a younger guy. Isn't that every single one of Randy Couture's fights??? ...except Randy's fights are what I like to call "exciting" AND he knows how to finish an opponent (not "stick and move" for 36 minutes)

I think I could best sum it like this:

I became a fan of neither fighter AND I will do nothing to go out of my way to watch them again.

Can you say that after watching?...
