As soon as I saw each fighter's attributes I knew that Manhoef was in trouble....
I'd say stick to dancing, but that kinda sucked too.
Wow another show of technique over power.
very impressive fight.
Very nice fight!
To argue with NA.CORRE a little I will say that at 7:24 in the video Mousasi attempt a take down but Manhoef make a superb sprawl. Unfortunately for him Mousasi just power drive him in the ropes and get on Manhoef's back (1 minute later the fight was ovr).
This is where being 5'8 really worked against Marvelous. Mad props to the Armenian Mousasi, he took that power bomb without even blinking.
That was barely a power bomb.
It really puzzles and irritates me that world class stand-up fighters think they can go into a fight against a submission specialist without any grappling/submission game. Maybe it's arrogance, maybe it's stupidity, whatever - it's just fucking silly.
World class grapplin ,poetry in motion
I agree with dj. The whole point of the submission game is to beat guys who hit harder than you. Strikers would probably beat the daylights out of any cat in a bar fight but in a ring or cage with a quality ground fighter they end up owned with a stupid look on their face after the fight.
