what a clown,
I feel sorry for Ken.
I really think kimbo is going to kick his ass, I look for Ken to try and stand up with him, keep his stiff base, and get knocked out. Or kimbo to take Ken down, Tito showed just how easy for a bigger guy it was to take him down.
I hate kimbo, but I think he will win
"not that ken is not smart... sorry ken" is so funny.
if kimbo wins i still don't think this will cement his standings in mma...elite xc should give kimbo real competition...ken was and will always be an mma legend but his time has passed
Ken is not going to win this fight. He was chosen for two reasons. he's a big name and he will lose.
Frank Shamrock has always been one of my favorite personalities in the sport.
I dunno about "kenbo" though.
Man, I didn't even know about this fight... You would think they would promote the HELL outta this event.
Anyways, I think Ken will play a stand-up game until he realizes that Slice will own him at stand-up. The second he realizes that (if his PRIDE doesn't get in the way) he will make the right decision and take Slice on a double-leg. Once on the ground I really don't think Kimbo will stand that much of a chance... But then again, if any of the training Slice received from Bas comes through, he may dominate on the ground as well... I agree with the majority, Ken should retire for good. Stick with the Lion's Den, and coach... You've earned your place in MMA history, now take a bow.
If Ken would fight smart for once...something he hasn't done in years because of too much "macho-ness developed at the WWF, he will win. BUT..he'll be stupid and stand up and get knocked the hell out by a lousy fighter that if he would be smart and take him to the ground could easily beat.
50/50 imho.
Kimbo can just knock the shit outta Ken, but Ken is still a very skilled grappler, even if he is a little old-school... I guess fighting Royce Gracie in UFC 1 is as old-school as you can get.
Ken has lost his last 5 fights, hasn't won in over 4 years and that was against Kimo (lol), has lost 8 out of 10 fights since 2000, and 9 out of 12 since 1996, his most recent fight was against Robert Barry, a can who looked like he had been training stand-up for a week and knocks Ken out. Ken has always been overrated and overhyped, and now this MMA legend is stepping into the ring with Kimbo. He's gone from competing (and losing) with the best in the world, to fighting freaking Robert Barry and Kimbo Slice. What a joke. Retire, go train your students, and stop destroying your own "legend."
