To be completely frank, I instinctively don't like him, but he *does* have a really good record, and has won some fights that I was sure he'd lose.

This isn't such a ridiculous thing when you consider that every sport has people who put on a bit of a show (I mean come on, would we remember Ali the same way if he was as quiet as Liston?), and that sport has always presented an excellent opportunity for theatrics. In Japan Barnett fought in front of an audience whose very concept of modern MMA is inextricably linked with professional wrestling, and he played into this role. (Quite literally, in fact, as he also acted/performed in professional wrestling matches.) You might not like it-- it's absolutly within your right in fact to hate him for it--but please don't act like it is some crazy unusual thing. Now unless, the Sherdog editors *lied* or *mis-edited* the comments.. he was well within his rights to say what he said without being considered a d*** by the people here!

Another thing: Josh is also telling the truth! He is not afraid to anyone, he trained Bob Sapp during Nog suplexing days and has fought the biggest and best during their peaks over and over again.
