Don't know much about this fight as it is not listed on either fighter's Sherdog fight finder, but through some googling I found out a couple things about the fight. It took place in Wand's hometown of Curitiba, Brazil in 1996. His opponent has an MMA record of 4-7 with noticable losses to Cyborg Santos, Ninja Rua and Pele. At the end of the fight(not sure if its in this video) Wanderlei says he has one more fight to go that night. I dunno if its a tournament, what the event is called, I dunno. Anybody know?

saying that it was a good fight but that he couldnt get to excited cause he would have another one that night
It is my understanding that for most of the people who are into mma, it is the art part that makes it exciting..now this fight (and the same goes for the chuck liddell fight.. well..there was nothing artistic about it..I mean we believe Kimbo Slice to be a street bumb for a reason...
even back in 96 .... was still a savage, who will he be fightin next do ya reckon people????
Someone that would get him a title shot. Machida maybe? I wish they had given him Rashad. Maybe Quinton as a part of some massive New years extravaganza.
