I am very happy to see someone finally land some punches on Aoki. I respect Aoki's technique, but I find it too one dimensional and felt it needed to be exposed. The crazy Viking did what JZ couldn't.

Disappointed that my man from Philadelphia Alvarez wasn't able to fight for the championship. If Hansen could KO Aoki, so could Alvarez.

I too request that that racist post be removed, and after that remove the homophopic slur that follows it. Seriously, you money stockpilin' Jews bastards need to clean up your language.

Up coming matches should be Aoki vs Alvarez. Since they have not face each other in a match.

Hansen ofcourse defend his title from the winner of Aoki and Alvarez.

Seems right this way because Hansen lost to both of these two. Except for this fight.

Anyways i would like to see any match between these 3.

same reaction from me just like the other comment "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO AOKI!!!!!"

Finally Joachim is Champ. Finally he beat Aoki...finally.

I love Aoki but he takes too many punches to the face.

Joachim congrats

Alright... that uppercut right at the opening, that Hansen threw, had so much stank on it I had to rewind it a few times. If anyone out there likes putting together web vids, they should do an MMA near miss vid. Another good one was in Hunt vs. Fedor. Hunt threw a blazing left hook that just missed and made everyone in the crowd gasp. Maybe a stupid idea, I just like seeing fighters come centimeters from getting KTFO.

this was so awesome. I was actually picking Hansen to win the whole... I thought I was wrong after Dream 3 :p

Aoki is fantastic, but I feel people are maybe a little to intimidated by his ground game to really press their own gameplan. Glad Hansen came through, as I'm sure Alvarez would have.

I'm a big aoki fan so it hurt to see him go down like that. Hit so hard he didn't know where he was. Respect to Hansen - but I expected a better fight than this.

Fuck, Aoki. I am sorry, i love you.
Aoki went through JZ, so yes could have gone through Hansen or Alvarez.
Aoki does need to work on his lame punching though..

Haha, finally somebody beat that guy. MMA baby. Mix it up.

Aoki got owned by getting punched in the neck... Is that even legal? I think this ought to be a no-contest. There should be a rematch with Hansen vs Aoki

wow, a lot of aoki nut huggers. aoki was exposed for being 1 dimensional. jujitsu by itself does not an mma fighter make. he's done well for a while now, but now that hellboy has shown all you have to do is stand up to the guy with some good striking and not be afraid to get in close, i don't see aoki continuing his dominance without improving the other aspects of his game. his striking sucks, and his wrestling isn't a whole lot better. uno showed that even though aoki can be tricky as far as submissions go, he doesn't have the strength to finish a really strong fighter. he's physically weak, or else he would have sub'd uno the 3 times he had his shit locked on him. i like aoki, i'm not hating on him, but the game has evolved since the days of royce. next time he faces a strong striker your gonna see a man struggling not to get hit, and his opponent won't be so afraid of his subs because of the lack of aoki's physical strength.

Hellboy is an entertaining fighter, Aoki isn't. I was dreading another 15 minutes of Aoki dryhumping his opponent to a decision but luckily Hansen came through with a massive diving punch!

No one deserves this more than Hansen and Alvarez deserves the first title shot.
