Anonymous said...: I do feel bad too I think he is depressed from losing his title but who wouldnt be. I think he'll get back on the rampage train soon enough tho and get straightened out. He is one of the best fighters in his weight class without a doubt. He seems to be getting a lot more humble too, he used to always say silly things and crack weird jokes but he isnt in that state of mind now.; July 16, 2008 7:37 PM

It seems he's had some sort of spiritual and religious awakening, and generally that sort of things happens after something bad has happened in ones life. Not just a loss, depression is likely or there could be family issues or a whole other range of problems in his life, who knows.

http://webescape.wordpress.com/ said...: Irrespective of losing the belt he had a rematch that would have happened, possible movie roles, endorsements and sponsorships, even being immortalised in a video game and toys etc. Of course you'd take a dip after a loss but there is no excuse for this, I hope he gets help with his issues and that the UFC are able to bring him back once he has done that.
