Can't believe Cote is getting a title shot. That fight was BS and Almeida was the one pushing the action and taking Cote down. Anderson Silva will destroy Cote.
A title shot after that mess? If Silva were drunk he could still beat Cote. The guy has no ground game. A title shot? That's just foolish. Cote will be fed to the lion.
Both of those comments are junk. Almeida was walking backward and pulling guard the entire fight.
Cote needs only one right hand to knock out Silva.
You guys watch too much WWE.
Cote was the clear winner, Almeida was hoping for a submission, and Cote didn't let it happen. Cote played it cool and did enough to win.
Mind you, I don't see Silva loosing to Cote. I don't see Silva loosing to anyone except by a freak lucky KO.
u wanna see a freaky lucky KO wen Cote fights silva he'll do exactly that. In every single one of his fights he has always been an underdog and now he just won 5 straight matches in a row. right now he is the most capable of deafting silva.
dana white is reaching on this one. i dont think cote has a chance. silva just dismantled a much larger and stonger opponent in the sandman. if you look at cotes' last four fights his good fights are against less than stellar opponants. crist, scott smith took him the distance. leben beat cote and we all saw what silva did to leben. dont get me wrong i like cote anyone that is friends with st. pierre must be a good guy but he is not ready for this fight. silva should walk to the cage wairing an exacutioners hood.
