A local Stockton, CA news station covered EliteXC: Unfinished Business and interviewed some fans outside the arena. Well, you can take a guess at what kind of fans they found to put on television. Just once I'd like to see a knowledgable MMA fan be shown on the news.

lots of blood?...really? where did they find these people?
yes, exactlty... pure IMBECILES!!!!!
OMG, where do they find these people? You can tell that the station totally biased, must have asked the "right" questions to those retards.
I can't believe not one person said for the technical aspect and chess like qualities of the sport. Truly a shame... shame on you stockton station. Well, its a redneck town anyways...
HAHAHAHAHA that was hilarious.
Look, I live in NorCal (greater Bay Area to be more specific), and insinuating that the TV station went out of their way to find this "quality" of MMA fan at a fight in Stockton...is like insinuating someone went out of their way to find a gay man in the Castro District in San Francisco. (sorry for the limited NorCal geographic reference, but you get the point)
Bottom line...the Diaz boys home town isn't the epicenter of intelligence and elloquence.
Peace...um, I mean "209 Bitches!"
"More money in city coffers."
Wow, Stockton knows how bring home the bacon.
Come on. This is true of any sport. They will never interview the "Intelligent" fan. Someone who knows the ins and outs of this sport and sees it as a the very competitive sport it is.
They will interview the drunk dude going WOOOOOOo BLOOD VIOLENCE.
It's going to be a long hard road for MMA to gain acceptance, but it will happen. The have no choice really. All other fight sports in the USA can't come close to as exciting and dynamic as MMA.
Thanks for the blog as always!

Just great, they find the Mortal Kombat fatality kiddies.
I don't see what's wrong with their reasoning. we all know we started watching the sport to see someone get beaten down... now how about we admit it? Along the way i became more educated about the sport and began to appreciate its intricacies once the initial appeal wore off. Bottom line is that people who say these guys are idiots are the equivalent of poor-turned-rich people thinking lower-class people are lesser-beings. Those of you that think you're on a higher-level of thinking because you know what an arm-bar is should get over yourselves. You sound fucking pompous.
ponderous, fuckin' ponderous - Casey Kasem
People from Stockton act hella dumb anyways.
i think the press is against mma going mainstream. they want to portray mma as non-sense and just pure violence. it doesn't help that morons such as those are interviewed but i'm sure there were other sensible answers out there but not the one's the press wanted to hear
fuckin' hilarious!!!
you know that them guyz
(the skin- head & the native are hitting the bars afterwards & getting drunk out of their freakin'
minds!!!!!!!!!)
u know itt!
I agree man we all got in to it for the blood and violence but then became more informed. I know thats what happened with me. Nothing wrong with these fans at all.
Uh... This is so doctored. The question I bet the reporters asked was "what do you think of all the blood in this sport?" and it wasn't "what do you want to see when you come to a MMA event?"
"I don't see what's wrong with their reasoning'
Maybe to you dude. As a martial artist, I wanted to see some cool moves, some cool submissions etc. Not necessarily blood or see some fucker get tha fuckin beat down like you said. Not being pompous dude but honest here. Maybe pompous to you... so good luck with watching this for the blood...
