Anonymous said...: i really wanted them to stop the fight, he lost way too much blood. we know Lytle is as tough as they come, but for him to stay in that 1/2 guard/mount or w/e just seemed unnecessary, maybe just me. i dont remember seeing that much blood in any other fight, Sherk vs. Florian was bad but i dont think it was this bad, neither was stevenson vs penn. thanks for the post.; July 5, 2008 11:26 PM

Ooopps, wait, maybe I have my facts backwards...that's the organization that stops fights when the producer gets a bloody nose from sitting up too high in the skybox.

Guess what, you can't have it both ways! This is a potentially brutal sport and I, for one, would much rather have to endure a little blood than watch guys use sharp elbows as a way to win (as a means to an end I have no problem..but to throw a glancing elbow from the clinch, cutting open the bridge of the nose or forehead and getting a win doesn't cut it for me)
