WOW!!! Dream Fight Penn vs Faber. What do you guys think? WOW!!!!

Pulver didn't really do any major damage at all. Kind of a boring fight. Looks like a setup to me to make it last 5 rounds.

Urijah faber has horrible hair. He should cut that mullet.

What a 2 1/2 weeks of MMA this turning out to be! The media won't be this jam-packed with MMA events for a while. Either way, Faber definitely proved why he's considered one of the best at 145 lbs--he purely outclassed Pulver (i.e. better conditioning and utilizing more of an arsenal of kicks and that scary right hand. WEC has probably run out of talent to throw at him, and they'll have to start scavenging from UFC, or work out a deal of some sort.

Great evening of fights.

Faber isn't that good no power ok wrestling and the fight was weak. Pulver had a off night or somthing there were so many opening he didn't even try. Plus faber has no left hand and has a sneaky right hook that about it. Bring him to the UFC 0-3 that hows it would be.

such uneducated people posting about it being boring! how can you call yourselves mma fans and think that was boring?
that was one of the most beautiful clashing of mini-titans i've ever seen... reminded me of a less bloody griffin-bonner fight. even though it was clearly a 45-50 fight, shamrock said it a few times: even if it's a close fight, someone has to win and faber was just a touch better in each round.
anyway, i'm blown away. awesome fight all the way around. pulver has a jaw of steel! if penn is such a badass p4p fighter, he won't mind dropping weight to fight faber. personally, i think faber is just like sherk, but with better striking abliity. i wanna see it!

Fuck man, I saw 2 great fights.

Torres vs. (fuck, I'm sorry. I should know the guys damn name)
almost stole the show in my opinion. That Miguel is really one bad dude and I bet he could take Faber-weight or not.

and then Faber vs. Pulver which was just amazing. Pulver took incredible punishment and went 5rounds while Urijah Faber (smartly wearing cornrows to keep the long hair out of your eyes, I wonder if Clay Guida will do this?) looked absolutely poetic. That dude is fucking quick and threw some really creative attacks at Pulver.

Pulver is A-CLASS MMA MATERIAL for real. He connected some of his own, but as he admitted, "I didn't know how fast he was."
Maybe he got caught trying to match the youngster even though experience will always win fights if it is applied accordingly.

Any rate, Faber is just about King of 145 and I definetly see a Penn fight (I think they have trained together but don't trust me on that) or some Japanese fighters get shipped over here to attempt to take him out or return in shame.

or Miguel Torres...

Unlike many others posting here, I thought the fight was great. I didn't expect to see Pulver walk away with it, nor did I expect it to last all 5 rounds, and that in itself is what made the fight so damn great!

Pulver is a great fighter, but not on the same level as Faber. I can see that, and I am not a Faber fan...There is just something about him I don't like, but I will grant that he is one hell of a fighter in his weight class...and I cannot wait until someone drops weight to take his belt away!

I don't know if Faber will ever get the chance to meet Penn in the ring, but I believe that would be a great fight, and if Penn comes prepared as he has the last two fights, Penn will dominate Faber...if he shows as the Penn of a few years ago...of course Faber will dominate!
