This was pretty disappointing, but Metcalf employed a perfect gameplan. I don't think Daniels got to throw a single strike.
Raymond needs to get a groundgame, and then come back.
u cant play mma with girly arms and legs sorry this is a man's sport. tough luck :P
haha gotta love the strikers that have no ground game sept for a guillotine. i enjoyed it lawls
welcome to mma bitch!
they should have matched him up with a pure striker to show his real game... he was absolutely helpless on the ground - poor boy!
looked like Royce Gracie first fights in MMA !
LOVED IT!!! Man, just to see some jiu-jitsu 101 in action with a world class kickboxer proves how much more important ground game is. It was like we went back to the first UFC's and Royce is kicking some overrated striker's ass. LOL Awesome. Great Metcalf...
Uh...Welcome to MMA...Now let me show you how to tap!
Well, Cung Le is who he is because he has the wrestling to keep fights standing.
i guess the "strikers chance" didn't prevail.
Just another lesson learn when coming into MMA world. Guys can take you down...
Daniels sucks. This is the last of him.
Cung lee has exelent Judo + striking, just needs to work his submissions.
Raymond Daniels was so very cocky. He said he'd be the best fighter in the world, better than Cung Le, and needed a challenge to 'see how good he really is' and so he came to MMA. He woke up and smelled the cage. This beautifully demonstrates the discipline superiority of MMA over boxing and kickboxing. Metcalf took care of business, and even landed a hard right on this striker at the beginning of the 2nd round! Wow, great career win for Metcalf. Low blow to the ego for Daniels. The foot stomps at the beginning were strategic. Stomp kickboxer's feet. Funny.

terrible matchmaking by Strikeforce. on a card full of guys either making their pro debut or with minimal experience and a losing record, why match daniels up against someone with a 12 pro fights under his belt? silly for Strikeforce to make this bout (i'm assuming daniels got paid decent money for his appearance), and even sillier for daniels and his management to accept it.
