Basically, this is exactly what the WNBA is --- something I will (a) never pay to see and (b) change the channel even when it's free. If I wanted to watch shitty fights I'll head to the local inner city REC center basketball court.

You would think that the last thing you would do is 'high-five' someone who is charging at you with extreme prejudice. how silly.. if you can't stomach women's mma, don't watch it. Don't go saying that its not as safe as men's MMA. Men's MMA is way more dangerous because they can hit so much harder.

These guys piss me off. Women have put on amazingly talented and entertaining fights. They came across as completely rude and biased.
women are not made to fight, the man is the warrior not the women. women mma is brutality, its stupid, its wrong, doesnt feel good, its retarded. i am not being chauvinist or anything like that but womens are not physically built to fight. this is just has wrong as a man getting a vagina and trying to have kids.

My thoughts on women's MMA, and the Couture fight.
1. Viewer discretion advised. The same for any media. If you don't like it don't watch it.
2. Women's MMA is not more dangerous than the mens. One could argue that it could be safer... Better flexibility in submissions escape/entrap, and because they have less upper body strength - they're strikes are less powerful.
3. Kim Couture needs do a lot of work if she wants to be taken seriously as a "pro" fighter. She needs to have a bunch of amateur MMA fights, work on her stand up skill that are non-exsistant.
4. Despite being totally p'owned the entire fight - she does deserve some props for enduring such punishment. I'm impressed she went straight out to defend her fight, and educate folks about MMA. After looking at the video step-by-step a few times it does look like K.C. tries to touch gloves but poorly - you can definitely see her left arm down and right hand at around her shoulder, thats why she got hit with that unblocked right hook to the jaw. <--- Was she trying to touch gloves? Was she throwing a low left jab.
5. Unfortunately this was an ugly fight with hot girls <-- sexist -Yes, fuck you. Thats reality, this fight was between 2 amateurs. Stylistically this fight was ugly because Couture looks untrained standing up, and when it got on the ground it was just slow unproductive squirming for position. Secondly, it was ugly because they are attractive, or were before the fight.

first of all... she probably sucks as a cook... you know they have an inhouse chef! she's no home maker... she's more of a talker and spend monier!

she definitely wasn't trying to touch gloves, she was trying to block that punch and got schooled.
She's a complete airhead on the radio show thinking she's all that.
I can't believe the doctors never looked at her. Even if it was a broken nose a doctor should have looked at the nose because those can be dangerous to fight with also and many men's pro fights have stopped for a broken nose (Gomi v. Ludwig for one).
She's not a legit fighter for this level of exposure.
This bitch gets too many headlines as is. Not much worse than watching this shit.

These two women weren't any good, so you think it's okay to paint all other women with the same brush? Bullshit. If you don't enjoy watching women fight, don't watch, but don't proclaim that they shouldn't make their own choices about fighting because "women are to be loved" or some demeaning stereotype. It's their decision. Respect that, even though Kim Couture's fighting skills don't command any respect.
