Anonymous said...: If you weren't disappointed by a FOTY getting stopped prematurely, a premier fighter not making weight, a couple of 1 minutes mismatch KOs, and the poorest refed fight in recent memory then you are easy to please.

And if you don't think the UFC is the premier MMA organization in the USA (and the world) then well... then you are biased beyond all logic and there's not really any hope for you as a human being.

stop the hate said...: This is not the first idiot to say that the fight should have been stopped when Kimbo was pinned against the cage. Did anybody look at his face afterward? That "ground and pound" may as well have been a pillow fight. It was obvious when it was happening as well that there was no power there. When it was stopped, Thompson was literally out on his feet. You could see that he couldn't even focus and when he started to come to, he took a poke at the ref he was so out of it.; June 2, 2008 10:33 AM

Well, you know, when the 3 punches pop a guy's ear and discolors it horribly while the 25 elbows have little to no effect, what do you expect? I question whether you even watched that fight or not.; June 2, 2008 12:08 PM

People might like Kimbo, but he has NEVER fought a top fighter in the world, no fights with Fedor, Mirko Cro Cop, Tim Sylvia, Randy Couture. Only reason he's being hyped is because he had 3 easy fights with a bunch of nobodies.
