C'mon Dana, have a reality check.
I love MMA and I admire your enthuthiasm but I doubt if MMA will be bigger than football, and by football I mena REAL football, not soccer. Honestly, if you can make the best MMA card in history and put it on the same time slot of the FIFA World Cup who do you think will have the bigger audience?
I agree with Dana...Think about what he's saying: In 8 years the kids that are 10-23 right now will be the key demographic. These people currently 10-23 are growing up with MMA. 8-10 Years from now this'll be their thing -ButtSnug-
Anonymous you need the reality check people talked just like you did about boxing. Right now soccer would win obviously 8-10 years from now who knows certainly not you or anyone else. The way the sport is growing I honestly could see MMA being great especially since it's accepted world wide.

I agree with e above poster regarding football being the biggest sport.
But, I mean the real football, not american football.
No sport event is bigger than Worldcup.
No sport event is bigger than Worldcup. Finally someone who knows what they are talking about...
MMA is good guys, but you are clueless to think it will ever surpass huge TEAM sports like Soccer. American football or "REAL" football as some of you dimwits have put it cant hold a flame to the following soccer has world wide. I love MMA, and hate soccer, but I am not ignorant enough to claim MMA is going to be bigger than soccer, that is just silly.
ESPN is so bent towards the UFC. The Aoki fight at Dream 4 was Awesome. Nobody has ever seen a submission like that in the big leagues. They only downplayed it because Florian was there. Aoki is one of the best lightweights in the World. Espn needs to recognize that thanks to MMA sites like this one the world is getting to see the real fighters of the MMA world not just the UFC.
hmmm..in 8-10 years we will have the world cup 2010 in south africa and 2014 in brazil and in between euro 2012 and also copa america and not to mention the annual european champions league and professional leagues all over europe and south america (MLS does not matter)...so i love MMA but you would be putting yourself in armbar by saying MMA will be bigger than football
