Thanks for the vid. The fight was lame... could've gone either way (I thought it went the other way). Can't wait for the next episode. Don't put lemon juice on southern man's tobacco lol.
hahahaha what was rampage yelling in the room after the fight? I listened to it 15 times but I can only make out 2 or 3 words. Something like LJLKDJGKJKLDGJ FIGHT GKLG BOY GFKGJKLSFJG GJFKLGJLS GFKLSFGLK DIDNT EVEN FIGHT!
omg rampage is totally bad ass when he gets mad.. i was starting to think how could this guy be a fighter? he is so nice and kind.. then bam! rampage! and i like it!
I'm going to offer a contrary opinion to shit-talking the winner of this fight...
Yes, I agree, it wasn't exciting. Yes, I agree, the loser was doing the damaging stricking.
But as far as controlling your opponent...it's obvious who won that battle.
The lay and pray comments would lead you to believe he never slammed his opponent, never even got side control, nor even attempted one submission. Essentially, through superior technique and fight-plan, he controlled a stronger opponent!
Bottom line, a "W" is what this is about for these fighters...by any means necessary. Heck, I think some of the shit-talkers would rather have this guy go in with a Frank Shamrock game plan (in his fight against Cung Le)and strike with the stiker until he got beat...and that's just stupid when a six figure UFC contract is on the line.
that fight sucked. both fighters did nothing to win that fight, but i will agree that the guy one because he set the pace and got the takedowns. the guy with the mohawk is in good shape but has no skill other than laying on his back and elbowing. cant win fights like that.

I think if this fight was anywhere but the TUF it would've been a draw, but there is more to a fight then damage, even if it doesn't sell tickets for Dana, i could understand if he dropped him with a strike or atleast rocked him, but all his shots were nothing special, they were either off his back or from defending the takedown, there was no damage done to take note of that would win him the fight

ok so a lot of valid points are made here in these comments. i do think that eye twitchy guy got a little lazy and maybe a little too comfortable taking all those strikes. who knows?.. maybe the weren't doing that much damage. quantity doesn't necessarily mean quality. i saw many strikes, but not too many that had a lot of power behind them. eye twitchy dude controlled him the whole fight. in fact the best punch i think was thrown by dante with that overhand right. there were also many times during this match where mohawk(no disrespect for eye twitchy and mohawk, i am just bad with names, i can't even remember my own sometimes) wait i think it was brandon. well, he kept trying to put a leg up from the bottom, maybe looking for a triangle or something, but he didn't have his other leg free to secure the choke or whatever the hell he was looking for because homeboy was controlling that leg. he did have a pretty good sweep though, if he tried more of those instead of wasting time with stuff he didn't really know how to pull off he would have definitely won. he even had a PERFECT opportunity for a crucifix but did not capitalize, where he could have easily. i am not saying i could beat him, just that the judges weren't as wrong as a lot people seem to think they were. i don't know, somethin tells me that twitchy likes being hit, but i guess we'll see. overall, not impressed with either fighter as far as stardom goes, i think one guy was just being lazy and the other is hard working but with not enough grappling tech. and i do think that both of them kind of realize that and will go back to the gym/dojo/mind and smooth those out.
Sure, Brandon threw more strikes, but if you thought they were actually causing damage Dante gave no indication. While Brandon showed more effort this is not 6th grade, you don't get an A for trying hard. If anything Brandon spent too much time throwing those useless nuisance strikes instead of trying to gain position. By sacrificing position he clearly lost that fight.

The worst fight, ever. Lay and Pray. A bunch of B.S. hugging. Slow paced. Boring.
Thanks for the vid.

okay, um... good to know, I guess.
Holy shit, that fight was bad. I hope that blanket gets brutalized in his next fight.
Agreed. Bullshit fight and bullshit result. First episode that I skipped through most of the fight.
bullshit indeed!!!
I had the punk haircut guy won the 3 rounds.
He beat dante from his back.
Dante is the world most boring fighter!
He doesn't do shit!
Hell I wanted to go in there and beat his stupid ass!

anonymous said it right. Lay and pray sucks, get rid of that crap.
Bring back the stomps I say, see if tha helps the situation.
Watching Steve Mazzagati is painful. Everytime I see it is him refing the fight I cringe because I know it is going to be very awkward...
bull crap fight. They should both be ashamed. And fuck matt brown, small dick syndrome.
