Anonymous said...: I don't think this is a case of 'roid rage' so much as it was he lost the fight. Fedor submitted him via arm bar, from full gaurd on the ground off of his back. I think he was really angry at him self for getting sloppy in an aspect of mma that he is sometimes credited with developing "ground n' pound". chris said...: i think coleman and randleman are on roids...but he's just genuinely pissed at himself for losing...i wouldn't say that's roid rage, but he's definately roided up. although, it's very uncommon to see that caliber of athlete pissed, because that was behind the scenes it's hard to tell if that's something the fans just don't get to see, because the fighters don't show their true frustration immediately after losing(except for tito when he cries).; May 5, 2008 6:45 PM

Yes, there were guys like Pete Williams who did beat Coleman but it was always after Coleman was totally gassed and even then it seemed to take longer than it should to put him out.

But this ain't the old UFC where Coleman "grew up" anymore and there's a mega shitload of new skill all over the place. I had no doubt that Coleman was gonna run into a brick wall against anyone even NEAR the likes of Fedor.

To put it bluntly, this is just Fedor cleaning up another remnant of the old-school UFC icons...
