Why does Dana White have to make it so difficult to watch?! He added the ICEMAN tribute and following that is the Silva vs. Liddell tv broadcast premiere, while ELITEXC has its prime time debut.

Mozart's requiem. Nice touch.

This event was not only an awful event in terms of doctors stopping the fights too early & a terrible decision at the end (letting Kimbo take 1 or 2 mins of unanswered shots, but stopping JT for looking gassed) but also the whole show itself.

I am in English so stayed up til gone 4 in the morning to see this and what a waste! Whatever you call it, the ref handed the win to Slice as JT clearly won rounds 1 and 2 and had taken some big shots from Kimbo.

I think this was a terrible outing for the sport on Primetime and one person who will be loving it is Mr Dana White. The UFC still is high at the top of North American MMA.

((Watch the upcoming fights people and marvel at how Elite XC messed up a primetime slot on CBS))

I am shocked... They could not have made it more obvious who they wanted to win.

1.) Corano was beating Katlin into a bloody pulp, but she could have kept fighting. I have seen way worse cuts and injurys.

2.) Kimbo got beat, he was getting unanswered blows for like 2 minutes and they ref said "cmon you need to do something, your not fighting" while JT was raining down blows. Even if they werent deemed "painful" they were still unanswered, and Kimbo should have been stopped. Then to top it off, JT wasn't even out, but was obviously just rocked.

3.) I am still trying to figure out why they would stop the Smith Lawler fight... What was that all about, Smith was fine. He told the doc he was fine, and he wasn't bleeding or anything.

Something VERY fishy was going on, and I think it had to do with money.

baroni is such a tool...he is terrible..

i like when JT punched the ref..that was the climax of that match.

YES this event had to be rigged, elite xc was protecting their top fighters.. you dont see this bs in UFC.

"1.) Corano was beating Katlin into a bloody pulp, but she could have kept fighting. I have seen way worse cuts and injurys."

Are you joking me? That mouse under Kaitlin's eye had swollen her left eye completely shut leaving her completely open to carano's right. There was no way she could continue

"2.) Kimbo got beat, he was getting unanswered blows for like 2 minutes and they ref said "cmon you need to do something, your not fighting" while JT was raining down blows. Even if they werent deemed "painful" they were still unanswered, and Kimbo should have been stopped. Then to top it off, JT wasn't even out, but was obviously just rocked."

I agree they couldve let the fight go a bit longer, but the result would've been the same. Kimbo was just too dominant in standup, and although JT was dominanting in the ground game, he wasn't doing any significant fight-stopping damage. Obviously the ref didnt want to end the main-card fight because JT was just lying on top of him throwing weak forearms/elbows

"3.) I am still trying to figure out why they would stop the Smith Lawler fight... What was that all about, Smith was fine. He told the doc he was fine, and he wasn't bleeding or anything."

Are you stupid? Do you honestly think that they told Lawler to "perfectly" time a finger to the eye, and do you think they convinced Scott Smith to throw his own fight by telling the doctor that he couldnt see?

Quit being such a dumbass.

i agree, even with the religious nutcase ;)

overall a bad representation of mma to the public opinion.

Hey Elite...if you EVER want me to watch Kimbo fight again you need to put him in there with at least the likes of Brock Lesnar (shit, Brock's first fight was against a former champion and BJJ expert in Mir)

I am actually not religious, in anyway at all. Religion is a horrible thing that causes war's, conflict and self righteousness. I am a Christian, but those terms are not synonymous.

Mark Driscoll explains my position well.

However, I don't care what anyone says the fights were rigged and I don't know what happened with the Smith/Lawler fight. I am not saying they planned the eye poke, but I am saying they had early stoppages that should never have happened. Something fishy was going on.

the kimbo fight was the only one that could've been stopped for financial reasons, its as simple as that, why are you too stupid to realize this?

young's eye had swollen leaving her blind in that eye, you simply CANT fight like that, it was a great call

lawler/smith - you can't fake an eye poke...it was just a misunderstanding between doctor/fighter - and furthermore WHY WOULD THEY STOP THAT FIGHT? they wanted it to go on and become a legendary fight for EliteXC (it was going to happen too, great fight)

and you claim youre not religious but you have the same blind faith in yourself that religious fanatics have

"However, I don't care what anyone says the fights were rigged"

Translated:
"im right because i say so and thats that, everyone else is wrong and my way is the only way"

"I don't care what anyone says..."

That pretty much says it all.
