I'd love to see him get another shot. In their last fight he controlled the entire first round, but then he got greedy. He decided to stand, got hurt, was put in a bad position on the ground, and got submitted. Hopefully he'll stick to the game plan next time.

i'd like to see them battle it out again. when they both fought each other the first time, i didn't had the feeling that henderson brought his a-game.

I love Dan's logic...
"I don't feel I was at 100%..."
(yeah, neither was Travis Lutter...should he get another shot too???)

Okay, let's do some critical thinking...

First, what makes Dan think that SILVA was at 100%!?!

Second, how is it that Silva continues to knock out or submit every opponent he's faced when a title is on the line?...is it that he has an amazing ability to ALWAYS be at 100%?

Third, perhaps Dan should consider that his 100% can't handle Silva's 90%.

I typcially don't like watching rematches...unless the original fight was an ALL OUT WAR between evenly matched fighters. Can anyone honestly say that was the case with Dan and Anderson???

If Dan gets a few wins (impressive wins against Franklin and Marquardt, maybe Jason Day, would do) i'd love to see a rematch.

I agree with csreeves, this wouldn't be a great fight I think Silva needs a new opponent... perhaps GSP (yes I know they aren't in the same weight class).

I agree. Everyone that fights silva makes some dumbass excuse. Whats even worse is some people on the sherdog forums and such say "chris leben will take silva in a rematch"...it's like what the hell are these people thinking? Chris leben got DESTROYED in like 90 seconds. People just hate giving non-american fighters there due sometimes.

I'd leg kick him once before I get roundhoused in the head and KOed

I think Henderson needs to leave this one alone. He looked terribly outclassed in the last fight, and Silva just made him look sloppy. I think Henderson used to be a good fighter, but his wrestling can't carry him against an opponent like silva.
A. His striking is inferior
B. Once they get to the ground, Silva gains the advantage again: NO ONE is going to ground and pound Silva out...it simply won't happen, and Henderson banks on this strategy.
Silva has established himself as being pretty much the best pound for pound mma fighter out there, and I think his next step might be fighting up weight, instead of down. if he goes down in weight, big deal...but if he goes up in weight and destroys people, now that's a big deal. gsp would be a good fight, but I think silva's standup game would win out. It's hard to call that one either way for sure, but gsp is the only real competition that silva has left in the ufc if you go DOWN in weight class.

I agree with "csreeves" and also with this comment: "People just hate giving non-american fighters there due sometimes." from anonymous.

I seriously know that the outcome of a rematch wouldn't be any different. Silva might even finish it sooner the next time around. That fight was pretty one sided in my opinion. Henderson held on to Silva in the first round... How did he dominated it? That was not a really good position for neither... As proved it didn't do any damage to Silva and he destroyed Henderson on the second round... Bring on new fights and let Hollywood climb up again ... then Sure, get a rematch.
