Anonymous said...: Ive been wondering as i watched the fight, have any great fighters come out of the lions den in the last few years? it seems like they kinda fell off since ortiz put the beating into some of the faces of their camp. Keep in mind im asking, because i havent heard of any lions den guys in the UFC (which although highly debatable, can still be considered where the best fight). Only one in recent memory would be john "war machine" koppenhaver from TUF, and although his fight was really entertaining, im not too sure i saw championship material in him... same with vernon white, good fighter but not on a level that could dominate his ranks; March 8, 2008 11:49 PM

but i wondered why he didnt defend the right hooks when they kept coming in like 5s intervalls at the end.
