As Berto was trying the single leg near the end, I seriously thought to myself "Edwards should just knee him in the face." I didn't expect it to actually happen, but damn. That looked painful. Completely defenseless against that knee.

Good lord that KO was amazing. Knee to the head from a single leg, awesome. Thug jitsu at its finest.

Holy Shit, nice knee from that position. Why the hell did the ref stand them up anyway? It definetly cost Berto from making it to the second.

Thanks for the fights mate.

Great finish to this fight! I've never seen a knee thrown from that position in a pro bout before, Berto never saw it coming. That's what makes Edwards so dangerous.

Wow, for a minute I thought He was going to lose after being told to stand up; I didn't see any reason why the referee would do that. Anyway, that was a nice finish.

I think this little move is gonna change how people train the single leg take down. I can't say I was rooting for Edwards but the one thing I love the most in MMA is originality. I don't mean in one's showmanship or presentation, but in one's technique. People all train for specific moves. Having creative technique kinda throws a wrench in the gears, and most of the time makes for great highlight material.

CRAAAAAZZZYYY!

We've seen this before with Urijah Faber but it didn't end like this. Unbelievable. Great fight.

BTW, who is the 3rd guy commentating. There's Mauro and Quadros and some other guy. He needs to be fired whoever he is.

yeah boy! Sweet ending. Great work on the site!

i saw that finish coming
i was guessing he was gonna fall back and kick him with his left leg, but the knee did the job also very nice.

seen faber do that, but not finish someone. he fight was great from start to finish, not just the finish, but the whole fight was great.

Any dipshit who gets a single-leg, ends up having his head shoved towards the ground...

...AND THEN STOPS MOVING AND LET'S HIS OPPONENT EASILY BALANCE ON ONE LEG (near the middle of the cage)...

...deserves to have his face smashed in with a knee!

Here's an idea...either keep moving and keep the opponent off-balance -OR- let go!

Props to Yves for taking what was given to him.

Great Fight ! Yves had some not so good competitions. But there was a time when I loved to see Yves fight. Good to see him back with innovative, fluid and most important effective moves.
Congrats

yeah, berto should have kept moving after he went for the single leg. it was stupid of him to stop like that and leave his head open like that...
