On Tito: I don't like Tito and I think he's an egomaniac, but I certainly side with him over Dana, and I hope he does improve the pay scale, etc. for lesser known fighters. Rashad is definitely not as big a fighter as Machida though, Lyoto is next in line for #1 contender spot. At least he's not insulting him directly.

On Dana: Oh the irony: The president of the most popular MMA organization in the world calling a fighter "A f*$%in' embarrassment." Classy as always. He's right about Tito being a bitch about fighting Lyoto, but "He had a contract!" is not a free pass to pay your fighters less than they deserve. There's no fighter's union, so they have to settle for what the UFC offers them and believe what the UFC tells them.

JAF (Just A Fan) said...: I could understand why people at a first glance can come to think Tito is an egomaniac...but if you seen em on the third season of The ultimate fighter, the celebrity apprentice show, and other interviews one can quickly notice hes very modest. For those of you who dont know what modest means, heres the definition: having or showing a moderate or humble estimate of one's merits, importance, etc. Now, you guys tell me, you've worked with a business for over 10 years, became the champion and successfully defended your title and been partly responsible for selling the most pay-per views...would you not feel that you deserved a reward or commendation? Or how about some respect?

If you still think tito is an ass... maybe you'll change your opinion after this interview in which i think he carried himself quite well with howard stern

Oh, and dana white? wow... i actually liked the guy. I enjoyed the way he spoke up against the press who thought UFC and MMA in general was nothing more than human cock-fighting...but after seing em bash on tito and randy..well..i've lost some respect for em. Check out this interview with dana...yet more proof that he can be a total idiot

And half of the big stars complaining would be nobodies without them. It is interesting that people use Mirko to badmouth Dana since that was an example of Dana being pretty magnanimous about letting one of his best paid guys who had been underperforming carry his name to a new organization. Tito can be an ass, however he works his ass off and Season 3 changed my mind about him. Dana is so out of line. He goes around bad mouthing everyone? Who could possibly respect a 'buisness man' who goes to the media calling his friends and past employees names left and right? How could anyone respect him when he acts the way he does?

These fighters are risking their lives as they know it. If they get hurt, the rest of their lives will be effected, not to mention their children's and family's lives as well and Dana is going to bitch about pay?
