First of all, thanks for your great site!
Well, I was wondering if you could help me with some infos... That famous Don Frye vs Takayama fight, do you know in which Pride it took place? And the Babalu vs David Heath fight, what UFC was that?

what the hell happened to renzo at the end
What a class act.
Renzo got punched/ clipped on the top of the head with a right, then ate a big left hand as he was looking up.
Hendo fully understands that he is competing in a sport, and there is no need to strike after the ref jumps in. There are a few other fights that Hendo has actually been pissed at the ref for not stepping in early enough.
Dan always respects his opponents, and shows it in the ring. These are the kind of guys we want representing MMA.
Does anyone know what happened to Renzo? In the ending, Renzo says he shot in and hit his head on Dan's knee. Although this seems like the only explanation, all the replays shown do not really show his head hit the knee. He must have hit Dan's left knee in any case.
If you listen in the end, Renzo was Knocked out by Hendo's knee when he was shooting in. He was out before any of the punches landed. I still don't see this ending with a Renzo victory though, he looked pretty limited to Henderson's skills.

It's a good day anytime a Gracie (or Gracie trained fighter) losses.
Sort of surprised me because when hendo knocked out Wandy he gave him a pretty massive assurance punch.
I don't fault Dan for the final punch. He was a gentleman afterwards and besides, it's not like you take the time to assess the damage in between each strike before throwing another when you're in a fight. The instant Dan actually realized that Renzo was out...he held up.
(Renzo knocking himself out on the shoot was classic. I wonder if at the end of a fight like that Dan secretly thinks to himself that he really didn't beat Renzo, Renzo beat himself?...but of course he'll take the win and the cash)
