Shogun is set to return in April at UFC 84 here's a LINK to the story. This fight from Pride 32 really shows Mauricio's versatility in the ring, I can't wait for him to fight again, possible opponents are Tito Ortiz and Lyoto Machida.

thanks for finding this fight. love your site. keep up the good work. 08 will be the return of shogun, hopefully.
What versatility? He won with one move.
Damn, poor Kevin!
First they announce him as being 5'1" and after that het gets subbed like its nothing.
;)
HEY RICHIE RICH
please post the Babalu, Mark Kerr fight that took place on Jan 12th. You are bound to post those fights if your site is good. Thanks!!!
He is a skilled competitor, but the fighters he will be facing will not be like Randelman. Shogun should consider dropping to 185 IMO. He looked much smaller than Forest. I think weight cutting to 185 would make him into one of the bigger fighters in 185 much better than being a small fighter in 205.
Good fight.
Pity they weren't allowed to kick the head, although I don't think it would have made any difference.
Any movement just helped the transition to the kneebar.
lmao! Is it just me, or did the announcer say that Kevin Randleman is 5 feet, ONE inch tall?
the one that said richie rich...
those fights didnt happen afterall
sucky.
Those Hammer House guys have absolutely NO sub defense at all.
And lol @ 5'1". He fought like he was.
Poor Kevin, the guy comes in as one of the most pumped up fighters and EVERY TIME he just runs straight into a submission.
As for Shogun, most of the die-hard fight fans might see his win as the result of skill and good work but, ironically, the average fight fan doesn't have the eyes to see all the skill and, instead, just want blood and pounding.
