Kiyoshi Tamura is as popular as it gets for an mma fighter in Japan, maybe the only 2fighters more popular than this guy are Sakuraba and Takada. He is also one of the most accomplished japanese mma fighters with notable wins over Jeremy Horn, Renzo Gracie and he fought to a draw with Frank Shamrock which for some reason Sherdog's fight finder doesn't acknowledge? This fight starts slow but it quickly turns up and is a very entertaining fight with Silva pretty much dominating, but Tamura does land some nice kicks, which is what he's known for. The Japanese fans go crazy in this fight, its great.

I like the way Wanderlei celebrates, then the guy looks like he's going to get up, so Wandy kicks him again. Then he goes straight back to celebrating!

my favorite part was the five minutes of cross-facing and tiny hammer fists. at one point it looked like Silva was just bored
First off, great site man. I love how you organized everything too so that fights are easier to find. But I did notice that a lot of your fights are offline now. I was just gonna suggest maybe you should try to post on megarotic.com. I know it's a porn site but I found the entire simpsons movie on that site as 1 file and it's been up there for a long time so I'm sure that file size limit won't be an issue. Also I don't think they'll really check for copyright stuff there. Just a suggestion. Again great site man.
Why is there blood on Wand's right eye? Did Wand get a cut on his right eye Or is it the blood from his opponent? If wand got cut, where did he get it from?

Stylish finish. On the replay you can tell Wanderlei was just going for the jab, found a Kung-Fu moment, and beat Tamura to the punch.

Wandy did some nice GnP for a while there, and kept using those small hammerfists. You could really see how swollen Tamura's face was when they resumed after the break.
Tamura's kicks weren't too effective against Wanderlei, hes a MT guy so he knows how to block 'em with his shin. He actually blocked all but the first kick. (which he grabbed and got the TD)
PS. Love this site. Please upload more classic Pride fights! :)
the intros reminded me of street fighter
yeah i agree there is a sort of 90s computer game style to the intros. wandy is the man, i love that knock out so much, top of my list i think. great site. obv. keep it up, loads of classics as i am a fairly new fan. x
