This is one of the best armbars in UFC history. Hughes moving to counter the Kimura and dropping into the armbar was perfectly executed.

Simply billing this as "GSP makes a mistake" discounts a brilliant move by Hughes at the peak of his career and it discounts other submission specialists like Big Nog who have finished their opponents similarly.

I think GSP will win at 79, but Hughes won that fight spectacularly and should be given fair credit for it.

I don't know if there's anywhere we can request fights we want to see.

But I've always wanted to see 'Vitor Belfort Vs. Chuck Liddell'

If you can find that, it would be uber apperciated :)

Maybe even the Tito/Belfort one also!!

I agree with the tone of these comments; both Hughes and GSP are incredible fighters and UFC 79 should be spectacular. I'll even predict this to be an all-time classic, 5-round battle.

I lean towards GSP, but I also agree that this is the smoothest armbar I've ever witnessed in MMA.

Respect to all true warriors who are class-act, and props to those who aren't but are willing to not be a pussy.

Great fight.

Exellent display of Jujitsu from Hughes. Thats a pretty basic transition too. I remember seeing a fight with Carlos Newton pulling off that same transition in Shooto.

At first I thought GSP might win this upcoming fight, but go check out Matt Hughes blog...

GSP is his handpicked opponent...now, think with me here. A man like Hughes, at the end of his career wants to go out strong...and he PICKS GSP...i think he knows what he's doing. But GSP is no pushover...
