I think vera needed some fighting tips from couture in dealing with silvia. That was an ordinary performance.
pretty much what I thought would/could happen if Tim stepped it up. He's looking much better now. Good fight.

GOD Timmeh is boring. 2 minutes of actual punching at the end of the fight does not in any way make up for 13 boring minutes of clinching against the cage (at least 9 of which were his fault).

tim sylvia needs to change his appearance if he wants to becoem popular..even is he becomes champion he isnt going to get alot of fans like this..
i might be way off here, but I haven't seen much of this "knock out power" from Tim Sylvia that people love to talk about. He couldn't knock out Cabbage when he was wide open, he couldn't knock out Vera here when he had him in a completely defensive position. The Arlovski knock out... Andre was freakin running in to it. Once again, I might be way off here, so if anybody knows of any somewhat recent Sylvia fights that show this phenomenal power, let me know.
This fight sucked big time. What else can be said? The guy pins Vera against the cage all night and that get's him the W? This was easily the worst fight of the night. The UFC should make all fights 5 rounds so, hopefully, the fighters get to some actual fighting in every fight.
I'm so disappointed but the Silva/Franklin bout was well good.

Each time a "Tim Silvia" type fight occurs. I wonder why I'm even following this sport. Then anyone else fights and I remember why. Excitement! Shove your safe fight to win ego up your ass Silvia.

Tim Sylvia sucks. The most boring fighter in the UFC. It makes you wonder what He's been doing for Dana to deserve a position in the UFC. The worst heavyweight champ ever.
