After this fight Baroni tested positive for steroids, but it really didn't matter as Shamrock beat him into a bloody pulp. The choke out at the end is classic, Baroni looks like he is dead for a minute, first time ive seen somebody choked out with their eyes still open. I cant wait to see who Shamrock fights next, he is such an exciting fighter even when he's on his back. Probably the most active puncher on his back Ive ever seen and their not just love taps, Baroni felt them.

ha, now i hear Baroni has been talking trash about Georges St. Pierre. I'm surprised he has the nerve to say anything after the beating he took.
He did look dead.
im not a frank shamrock fan but he was impressive in this fight. most ppl thought that once frank fought some real competition he would get put in his place. but he dominated this fight. doesnt stop him from being a jackass though. hes not someone i would want my kids to look up to. neither is phil baroni though. i was starting to gain some respect for baroni leading up to this fight but after finding out that this dude is a roider i lost all that respect. good fight nonetheless.
Shamrock has to watch those strikes to the back of the head. That's how he lost to Renzo Gracie. Baroni could have taken a dive and Shamrock loses.
In any case, very impressive win. Great striking with low leg kicks, body knees, and boxing.
I love how Frank pushed and kicked Phil off after he choked him out, That gave me a good laugh.
after the fight they noticed that baroni had actually popped his groin muscle and it was in a huge mound near his crotch
phil baroni is not real competetion. he hardly has a winning record, and hasn't really beaten anybody good.

Wow. In the moment you see shamrock taunting Baroni if you watch the previous strikes closely you can see how Shamrock found a big whole in Baroni's hands and used the same technique for like 4 times in a row until he got him down. Shamrock's the man.
