Rich was just not prepared for the fighting style of Anderson in this fight. He takes a pretty brutal beating here and his nose ended up on the side of his face.
I really cant wait for the rematch to see if Rich can actually defend the clinch this time around.

Isn't it interesting that even a professional fighter can be defeated with a relatively basic technique? Don't they train for this stuff? That was a mean clinch, though.
Hey, I'd get vaporized by any of these guys.
It is good to see some actual martial arts in a cage fight. Go Silva!
It is odd that Rich seemingly had no idea what to do in the clinch - not a good gameplan. I expected at least a few clean elbows, but even so, Silva has a great chin. Franklin has to take it to the ground where Silva is still dangerous but not as dangerous as the stand up. I think Silva's takedown defense is not the greatest.
ASilva's TKDefense is as good as he wants it to be. He's a fearless striker because he knows he's one of the best off his back. NOBODY has damaged him when he's on his back.
Well... nobody's damaged him at all... lol
anderson only lacks in takedown defense but it dosent matter..lol since hes able to protect himself and win via the submission
