Don Frye was very popular in Japan, he was considered a top heavyweight in the early days of Pride. Takayama was a popular Japanese wrestler who got in to MMA because of Nobuhiko Takada's success. What resulted was a true slugfest for the ages. I had forgotten about this fight and it was great watching it again. New Wandy fight tommorow.

that was crazy
Great camera work at the end. Frye has him in full mount and hammer fisting his head and the cameraman decides to film a couple of fans laughing and cheering. 2 seconds later and the ref calls it.
Great fight.
his face looks like mashed potatoes and jelly
never heard of either of these guys, but that was awesome. Trading blows undefended, unreal, we could stand more like this one! Thanx!
